First review. Don't hate if I get off topic.
ShippingOkay.. the shipping, was absolute shit. I waited three weeks for it. It was a custom ordered deck, but still, three weeks? Crazy. I've gotten packages from NC in three days.
First impressionWhen I took it out of the bubble mailer, I was really impressed. It had green top & bottom plies. The holes we perfect as I had supsected, and the kingpin holes we also perfect. Nice even shape, all the dips were evenly defined, and I had no problem knowing what side was the nose, because they stamp a R on the nose.
The DeckWas amazing so far. I had ordered some trucks from FingerDecks (lol) and I was putting them on, so far so good, and the countersinks weren't the right size. After I had finally put one of the trucks on, it was uneven due to the fact that the concave of the board was making the trucks sit crooked. I fixed this problem, after I put the trucks on several times.
It's five plies, and it is pretty thin. Not flexable at all, and I was impressed by that. I did notice that the tail portion of the deck, isn't as wide as the nose, just by a tad. The lacquer is good, not perfect. It has a few bubbles and it is very very thin. I messed up the top of the board by putting Redemption tape on it. The adhesive on the tape, peels off the tape super easy. So be careful if you have some and are going to use it.
NOW FOR THE TAPE REVIEW.THE TAPE IS BAD!! DON'T BUY IT!! It's 1/8" thick closed cell neoprene foam, atleast I'm pretty sure. It will NOT wear in and it is way way too thick. Also, I ordered 9 peices of the .8mm v2 tape, and he "ordered the wrong stuff" so he sent me 5 peices of v1 tape. No offense dude, but you need to stop selling this stuff asap.
Overall..Deck- 9/10. Great shape and size, but needs work on the countersinks.
Tape- 2/10. Semi-grippy, but just not the right kind of material for tape.

Go buy a deck! Not the tape!
